"They always have a solution to every problem"

I couldn’t sing enough my praises of this team of amazing practitioners in the CF (Cystic Fibrosis) Children's service. They are always only a telephone call away. Each time we ring the call back is within a few hours and they always have a solution to every problem. My child has multiple other non CF issues which they also help with by referring me to other teams as necessary. Recently my child has been so fortunate to get started on the new CF drugs which have had a positive impact, as well as starting on a new inhaler form for her antibiotics within the past 10 weeks, taken twice a day.

This has cut down the time of administration of these antibiotic from 30 minutes daily to 5 minutes which I’m sure you can appreciate has made life so much more manageable, especially as they are so busy at school. This is all due to the diligence of her CF team. We are very appreciative of them as they have made living with this life limiting, treatment intensive condition much easier. Knowing they are only at the end of the phone is so reassuring for us as we navigate this CF journey.
