"Wonderful staff and fantastic care"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / General surgery (Wards 9a, 9b, 9c & 9d)

(as a service user),

I was in Queen Elizabeth hospital over Christmas having renal cancer surgically removed robotically.  I spent 4 days in HDU one over the Christmas holiday and I would like to thank all of the wonderful staff for their fantastic care. In particular I wish to pass on my great appreciation to Tess, Kerry and Julie for the thoughtful care and compassion they showed during this difficult time.  They are truly a credit to the NHS and I can’t thank them enough for their care.

Dear PBr

Thank you for getting in touch to tell us about your experience in HDU. It is difficult being in hospital at any time, but especially during the Christmas holidays so I am pleased to read about the care and compassion shown by Tess, Kerry and Julie. Your positive comments are greatly appreciated and I will ensure that they are shared with the staff. I have no doubt they will be very grateful for your comments.

I hope that you are recovering well from your surgery.

Kind Regards

Nicole
