About: Covid Vaccination Centre shire / Glen O' Dee Hospital

(as a service user),

My daughter has been very anxious about getting her Covid vaccine. We have been on our way to get it on several occasions then she backed out. She eventually went to Banchory for her vaccine. She was crying before she was even in the door. The reception staff noticed immediately, took her through to an individual room and fast tracked a vaccinator to do her injection. He made her feel at ease and she received her vaccination at last. Thank you to all involved for this wonderful individualised service. The vaccinators must see so many patients throughout the day but went above and beyond to care for her.

Dear earthem75,

Many thanks for your lovely comments. The team work really hard to ensure each vaccination is delivered in a very person-centred way and it certainly sounds that this was the case in Banchory.

I will certainly pass on these comments to all concerned. I am sure it will be a boost to their morale.

Thank you for persevering with your daughter - hopefully this experience will change the way she feels about vaccinations in future.

Kind Regards

Maya
