"Care of the highest order "

I was brought to the A&E department last night by ambulance after a fall from some steps, also showing high blood sugar levels I can’t put this any more clearly the service I received from all the staff was exemplary and of the highest order I arrived still in a state of shock , but immediately felt that I was in the best hands possible ,even though I had to wait a few hours to see the doctor the minute he arrived at my bedside I felt he genuinely wanted to help me he was very polite very knowledgeable and I felt totally at ease in his presence he gave me a thorough MoT leaving no stone unturned he also got the best diabetic nurse I’ve ever met to assist him together they completely sorted me out and basically stopped me from taking a large dose of insulin that I had been told to take by a health professional at my local surgery had I done what I was told to do I would have gone into a hypoglycaemia coma for sure which could have proved fatal , I can’t fully express how enternally grateful I am to them and the whole team on A&E we have the best health care system in the world and last night proved it without doubt
