"Given the best care and reassurance"

I underwent a c-section in October and welcomed my gorgeous baby into the world. My section was semi traumatic for me, due to the consultant. My tubes and ovary were twisted and womb. I want to not talk about that.

I want to write to recognise what went right that day. I want to write about the anaesthetist whose name was Nikole. I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart for taking the very best care and reassuring me when I felt so very alone and vulnerable. The kindness and time she spent making sure I was ok before during and after is something I’ll never forget. We need more Nikoles in the world. Thank you Nikole. I hope you received my letter. We are forever in your debt xx
