"Hours waiting for breathing difficulties (asthma)"

About: Queen Marys Hospital (Sidcup)

Never come here for asthma. My child was given a nebuliser after waiting 3 hours for it. There are also three doctors in urgent care. After we was sent home and told he don’t need a pump he is ok. We was back and then rushed to QE because he was so bad. The place is more pointless that the doctors and that’s saying something.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, I am sorry your experience of visiting the Urgent Treatment Centre was not a positive one. We do welcome all feedback which we share with the wider clinical team so that learning may be shared.

I am afraid I am unable to comment on your individual case but if you would like to provide me with the details I can look into this further and provide you with a response.

In the meantime I do hope your child is now recovering well.

With Best Wishes
