I unfortunately received a fairly significant head injury this evening and presented at the Minor Injuries Unit at Stobhill Hospital. The ANPs and Stacey, and humblest apologies as I forgot the the other ANPs name (PS…I do remember the day of the week though) were so attentive, caring, compassionate and reassuring. Margaret the HCSW is an expert at dressing a head wound. I truly cannot thank them enough for the person centred care they provided.
I was referred to ED at GRI due to the injury where the care was exceptional. I cannot praise each and everyone who cared for me enough.
I am so proud of Rebecca the NQN. She definitely practiced the 4 pillars of The Code and I wish her every success in the wonderful profession of nursing.
11 stitches later on my head wound from Dr Owen with his tremendous teaching skills means I am whole again.
Thank you each and everyone of you. You are absolutely amazing and I’m so proud of the exceptional safe, effective and person centred care you deliver. Well done xx
