"Quick treatment at A&E"

About: Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead) / Maxillo-Facial surgery Royal Sussex County Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a service user),

I was bitten by a dog, went to A&E at Royal Sussex County Hospital following a 111 call. I was seen within the hour, given a tetanus shot, started on a course of antibiotics, and booked in for an appointment for the following morning at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead.

The staff at the A&E department were great, particularly the volunteer in the waiting room with the cool glasses and the Dr who saw me (whose name I wish I remembered!). Same goes for the team at the Maxillofacial Unit at the Queen Victoria, who were really kind throughout.

All in all, feeling thankful for our amazing NHS services and staff.
