"Excellent and caring nursing"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Rehabilitation Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Stroke care (Wards 56 and 68)

(as the patient),

Recovering from a stroke in October and November this year I spent about five weeks in ward 56 of the QE UH, Glasgow. This was my first experience in hospital and I was totally amazed by the friendliness and helpful attitude of the nursing staff. ( male and female ) Nothing was too much trouble and they helped raise my moral and confidence after my stroke. Also many thanks to the OT and Physio staff who got me back on my feet. A well run ward under the supervision of Sister Claire. Many, many thanks again to all for their nursing care.also thanks to all the management and staff of ward 68 ( stroke ward).

Dear brianr24

Thank you for taking the time to leave such generous feedback in regards to your experience of using Wards 56 and 68 of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

I can only imagine how anxious and worried you must have been so to hear how all the staff rallied round to support you with a helpful, friendly attitude throughout was very touching.

I will be happy to pass on your comments to all the staff involved who I'm sure will be delighted to hear how they were able to make a difference while you were in their care.

I hope your feeling a lot better now.

Kind regards

Kevin
