"Compassionate, efficient and genuinely interested in my wellbeing"

I’ve been a patient at Dornoch medical practice for several years now. In general I enjoy good health but I have had to avail myself of care from the GPs and practice nurses at various times.  I find all of the practice team to be compassionate, efficient and genuinely interested in my wellbeing.

The reception “dream team” are always very helpful and should all be very proud of the service they provide to patients.

Over the years I’ve had some check ups, blood tests and vaccinations performed by 2 staff members. They too are also very welcoming and I enjoy the chats I have with them.

Finally, I think I’ve probably had an encounter or two with each of the GPs. I know that I’m in safe and knowledgeable hands whoever I see/speak to.  I have some chronic health conditions and the monitoring which takes place for them always takes place bang on when it is due.  I know that such efficiency is due to work which takes place behind the scenes.  I wanted to acknowledge my thanks for this unseen work as all too often people are unfairly grumbling about GP practices.  Things have certainly had to change and I do miss face to face contacts, but I know that the staff are working flat out and are doing all they can to keep everyone safe. 

I appreciate the care from all the staff so much that I would be reluctant to ever move from Dornoch! I really don’t know if I would ever receive such an excellent service elsewhere. 

So, please accept this as a huge pat on the back and know that you are all greatly appreciated and do a wonderful job.
