"Professional and reassuring approach"

(as the patient),

After becoming unwell at home with what turned out to be a mini stroke I cannot fault the care I received. Although all the health care professionals could not be faulted a special thank you to the brilliant Ambulance crew, Stroke nurses and A&E Dr who were all so helpful and reassuring. From the time the ambulance arrived until I was ready to be discharged everything that was happening was fully and clearly explained.

The following day I attended the TIA clinic at Treliske hospital where the Health care assistant and Dr were so helpful. The professional and reassuring approach of all the staff instilled confidence at a worrying time. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us, please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to you on here. I was pleased to see that the Healthcare professionals you came into contact with couldn't be faulted, especially our Ambulance teams, Stroke Nurses and Emergency Department Doctors. It is lovely to see that you were kept informed throughout your stay in the department and when you attended our TIA clinic you found the Healthcare Assistant and Doctor to be helpful and reassuring.
