About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Dermatology

(as the patient),

My local hospital is the Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske, Truro, Cornwall and I had to visit the Dermatology unit to have a cancerous lump taken out of the top on my head.

The consultant, Mr. Adcock greeted me on time and went through everything that would happen in a friendly but professional manner which left me feeling very confident.

The procedure was quick and painless and I had a very professional service by Mr. Adcock and the nurses, Rita and Karen.  They were all very kind and a huge credit to the NHS.

Thank you for your kind response to a recent surgery you had to your scalp.

I will ensure the staff mentioned get a copy of this.

I’m very please that you had a good experience and felt informed throughout. Having any type of surgery can be very stressful but I’m glad the team were able to explain everything to you and put you at ease.

We find it very helpful to have feedback and try to ensure we make changes to benefit our patients where possible.

I hope you are healing well and you have a lovely Christmas.

Thank you so much for your reply. I am healing very well and am extremely grateful for the treatment I received. I couldn’t have had better if I was royalty. I have immense respect for the NHS and all of their hardworking staff.
