"Woke up to lovely smiling faces"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

From my pre assessment 2 weeks ago, until my surgery today for polyp removal, ovary cyst removal by laparoscopy, I cannot praise the medical staff highly enough. From the minute I arrived on the Day Surgery ward I was treated so well and with so much kindness its actually made me teary! From the nurses, to the Anaesthetist, my lovely Consultant Dr. Devi, theatre staff, I cannot thank you enough. Everything was explained without being rushed and it all made me so calm and confident.

After my GA, back on the ward was lovely to wake up to smiling faces. And I so appreciated Dr Devi and Anaesthetist who came round individually to explain what had happened etc.
I can honestly say I never at anytime felt apprehensive, felt calm and assured all the way.

Sorry I didn't remember names particularly well but there was a lovely male nurse who was so attentive and with a good sense of humour and a lovely way about him.
