After starting to feel ill, I came to A&E at Daisy Hill. I stayed here overnight, before being sent home and brought back in. My experience here was alright but very busy.
Up on the Male Medical Ward it has been excellent. All the nurses are 100% on the ward. John in particular has been excellent - very good at looking after you and keeping family updated etc.
When it comes to improvements, there are a couple of things which could be changed:
Firstly, the food needs improving as it really tastes like cardboard being heated up.
Secondly, I feel that better facilities are needed for scans and tests (more scanners, labs etc.) as everything is just so slow when it comes to waiting for a scan or waiting for results.
Other than this, everything else has been good.
