"Longleat ward "

Visited my 88 year old mother tonight .

I’m yet to assess the quality of the nursing care but a health care assistant was so rude and unprofessional tonight that I am certainly feeling concerned about the care . I do hope this wasn’t a ‘normal’ approach with the rest of the multi disciplinary team . I Left the ward and burst into tears . Will obviously be discussing further with sister/matron on Monday .

Absolutely understand that all NHS providers are stretched at the moment ( what with being a specialist nurse myself) - but really so disturbed by this HCA’s attitude .
