About: Castle Hill Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics Hull Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency Hull Royal Infirmary / General surgery

(as the patient),

I had an Orthopaedic appointment at Castlehill to see my Consultant who I am under for severe arthritis. Whilst their I informed my Consultant of the severe pain I was experiencing with a lump which had developed on my Section. Due to the severity of what he saw, he requested me to go to Hull Royal infirmary, as it needed addressing immediately. 

When I arrived at A&E, I was treated with care by the nurses & GPS,  

The surgeon from ward 6 ( Fathima ) made me feel at ease, talked to me about my medical history with care & passion, whilst doing the surgical procedure.  Jackie coordinator nurse attended to support myself and Fathima and talked to me all the way through. I very grateful, to them both. Sorry to Jackie if I squeezed her hand to tightly !!!
