"Response to Survive and Thrive group intervention"

First of all, I want to say a big thank you to Mary, Karen and Shona for taking the time to host the sessions and being there to support us. I also want to say what a great bunch of guys you all are. I’m so glad that Mary threw us in the deep end together. It’s been great getting to know you all. I don’t think any of us knew what to expect coming into this and I know that, some weeks, more than others, it’s been really hard for us all.

Just remember that we are not our past and it doesn’t define us. Our past has shaped us into the strong ladies that we are today. Carry on being who you are and don’t let anyone tell you that you are not worthy or enough. All of us are special and we all have something to offer the world. Don’t’ let others set the standard – we need to set our own and be kind to ourselves. I know it is easier said than done, because we can’t see our own worth yet, but we are all worthy and have already achieved so much. There are so many great things in store for all of us, so stand tall, keep fighting, keep shining and most importantly, keep smiling.
