Had to go to A & E today as my husband who suffers from emphasyma had spent the whole weekend really struggling for his breath with really bad coughing fits, was told by what I think was a triage nurse that we had completely wasted nhs money by going to A & E and should have just made a docs appointment for anti biotics!! I am once again sitting on the floor next to him trying to help him breathe. This is the first time we have visited this dept in many years and can only hope it will be many years before we have to go again!!!
