"Reception Staff Hostility "

About: New Silksworth Medical Practice

Received letter from Surgery asking me to make appointment for blood test and paroxysmal heart flutter check. Got through after 37 minutes. Could get appointment in accordance with my letter but when I asked if I could make appointment to see a doctor on a different matter was told to call tomorrow at 8am. Advised receptionist had waited nearly 40 minutes to get through and didn’t want a repeat performance. Told the only other option was to present myself at reception at 8am the following day and if available would be given an appointment within the next two weeks. Needless to say I have not bothered. I am now surveying the other practices in this area with a view to moving surgeries. I find the staff at this practice very rude and very unhelpful
