Fantastic non-judgemental care

"Fantastic non-judgemental care"

About: Stratheden Hospital / Adult mental health

(as a service user),

I just wanted to say thank you to all the staff at Lomond ward. I was terrified to go into hospital and it was my first time but throughout the few months I received fantastic care which was non judgmental and you could tell they genuinely cared. Thanks to my named nurse Terri for her support. I would like to thank them all, 

Special thanks to Gary who went for walks with me which really helped. Also Laura who always took time to ask how I was even if I didn’t ask.

Hope to not be back but I am very appreciative of the care I received, and wanted to say thank you again.

Firstly, I would like to say a heartfelt thank you for posting such lovely feedback and I am so pleased you describe the care you received at Stratheden Hospital as "fantastic" and "non judgemental". It will mean so much to the team to hear such kind words as the staff strive each and every day to deliver high quality, safe and effective care with the person at the centre.

It is powerful to hear you mention the special staff who really went above and beyond to support you. I shall share your feedback with the whole team and I am sure this will reinforce the positive work they continue to do on an everyday basis.
