About: Central Surgery

We have been registered with central surgery for well over 10 years.

Whenever I call the surgery for myself or family, I am always greeted by staff that do their best to fit us into appointments or deal with our enquiry.

Like most practices, you have to call early to get an appointment and wait in a queue. When you are answered the receptionist is always polite and gives you the time required. In all my contacts with them, I have always felt like they have given me the time I need without feeling like they need to rush off to the next call (which without doubt, they are probably feeling they need to).

Both pre and post Covid I have always felt that doctors listen to what you are telling them and act upon it. On multiple occasion when I have had a face to face contact, the doctor has sought a second opinion from another doctor, which is always reassuring.

At my most recent appointment for a coil change, I was very lucky to have a health care assistant to take my mind of it and was genuinely interested in the things we were discussing.

It’s been a tough 20/21 and we appreciate the service the whole practice has given.

The email prescription requests, that are sent to directly to your local pharmacy have been a big win for us.

Keep up the good practice, we really do appreciate it.
