"Waiting for hernia operation"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary / General surgery St Lukes Hospital / General surgery The Rockwell and Wrose Practice

(as the patient),

In 2020 I received an issue due to a large inguinal hernia I was told due to the size of the hernia was life threatening. Early in the year of 2020 I went to the hospital Bradford Royal infirmary due to the concerns of my left testical getting bigger - I was turned away by the hospital and was told to get referred back through my GP and I did not have a GP at the time. Previous Gp refused to see me because I had moved out of the area this was Rockwell and Wrose medical centre.

Further down the line I had to go back to Hospital in January 2021 due to the hernia increasing in size and feeling pain and this was affecting my employment with having time off work all the time due to the pain I have a Umbilical hernia which is also increasing in size and was informed by my Gp not to do any heavy lifting I am unable to gain employment and I am being turned down all the time due to my health condition Gp now says that I am fit for work with light duties but when I contact an employer I get turned down for employment I was told in July 2021 that my operation is being delayed due to the covid 19 pandemic and feel soon I will be made to look for employment. I was made redundant in June 2021 as employer closed the business down, it is nearly December 2021 and I still have not heard anything in regards to my umbilical hernia operation.
