About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Breast care service Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

I was referred by my GP to the breast clinic. I was cared for by the radiologist, I believe her name is Elizabeth, and her assistant, I think her name is Evelyn. They were both fantastic and took time to explain what was happening and were both very caring which really made such a huge difference to me.

I attended the Day Surgery Unit at QMH and from pre assessment until my discharge the staff were brilliant. The Charge Nurse, Nuala introduced herself to everyone in the Bay and I was cared for by Karen and also Kirsten who could not do enough for everyone.

The team in theatre were brilliant, I cant remember everyone's name, but again they took the time to explain what was happening and to help reduce my anxiety.

The entire team are a credit to NHS Fife, thank you for you care, it has made such a difference during a difficult time.
