About: Change Grow Live / CGL West Lothian (Outreach and Recovery Service)

(as a service user),

I was referred to the service due to sectioning under the mental health act, detention and treatment under the adults with incapacity act, after prolonged (30 years) of alcohol and substance abuse. The referral has been a miracle in my quest to find the right support for me. I was assigned a keyworker and the staff are all on board to step in with everything I needed regarding recovery.

I have found this service to be the best and have a new community social scene.  The journey continues but just thankful for the first point of the contact whilst in hospital. The cgl/assertive outreach team coordinator /workers are all in recovery. I have found this a great source of encouragement as I continue. 🙏
