"Very rude receptionist"

I worked as a childrens nurse in the hospital so I am aware of social distancing but I approached a lady receptionist coming out if the reception area just to ask where is the ultrasound area and she took a step back as if I have leprosy and have a very communicable disease. I am wearing my mask and I am not even so close to her and she told me to keep my distance from her which made me feel degraded . As a nurse myself there is a diplomatic way of avoiding close contact but it was just her demeanor that is totally un acceptable.
