"Home birth I'll never forget"

About: Borders Community Services / Community Maternity service

(as the patient),

I planned a home birth for my 3rd child and it was the best experience. My midwife kerry was so supportive and made it just in time I called the hospital at about half 7 for her to arrive shortly after my daughter was then born at 20.21 out of my three births by far it was the best experience that I'll never forget I had the best support and I was so relaxed it couldn't of been better. My daughter is healthy and breastfeeding well after the birth the midwives came regularly to make sure me and my daughter were OK they were fantastic.

Thank you Tashalonglegs for taking the time to give us your lovely feedback!

I'm delighted to hear you have felt well supported and had such a lovely experience with your homebirth! It is lovely to hear you felt relaxed and feel things couldn't have gone better for you.

I will pass your kind words on to the Community Teams - they will be delighted to hear such positive feedback.

I hope you are settling in to life at home with your new baby!

Kind Regards

Claire
