About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Surgical Receiving Unit (Ward 4)

(as a carer),

Since our 89 year old father has been admitted, the staff of Ward 4 have been wonderful.  Despite being so busy, each one takes the time and patience to answer our endless questions and provide reassurance.  The care shown to my father has been second to none. The nurses including super helpful Kay, have been so caring, thoughtful and cheery.

My Mukerjee took the time to brief us in depth as to the next steps and repercussions in my father's care.  We can't thank you enough.

Thank you for taking the time to post your family's experience of your father's inpatient stay in Ward 4 at University Hospital Hairmyres.

I was delighted to hear that your father's care and experience was so positive. The team in Ward 4 work extremely hard to provide patients with the highest standard of care possible and I will ensure that your comments are passed on to the team. I was also delighted to hear that during your father's admission the staff regularly provided you with medical updates, which is really important and can help to ease any anxieties you may have during a loved ones hospital admission. It will be my pleasure to share your lovely comments with the staff you have mentioned.
