"What is the point in appointments"

About: Scunthorpe General Hospital

Had an appointment to bring my mother to get her eyes checked, this is literally a 20 minute procedure. So far it's been 2 and a half hours and I've got a parking ticket. What is the point in appointment times if you never stick to them, what's worse is there are facilities where we live 45 minutes drive away, they won't send a specialist there though, they would rather make all of the patients go out of their way and then make them wait for half the day. Poor organisation, poor management, poor facilities, poor hygiene, the place is filthy. Go to Lincoln if you have the option
