The doctors are amazing here. All so friendly and kind.

Unfortunately, to get to the doctors you have to speak with the receptionists who are rude and unnecessarily nosey when booking appointments.

Having to speak with them has on more than one instance, made me reconsider whether I need a doctors appointment and instead suffer whatever aggravation I am experiencing.

I am sorry to hear you feel the reception team are rude, please could you get in touch to provide some more details regarding your experience, LEWCCG.g85027-general@nhs.net

The reception team are instructed to ask for a reason for the appointment so that your call can be triaged and booked with the appropriate clinician. However, it is your choice and you can decline to give a reason. We only state that this would mean your request cannot be triaged and may result in a delay in the clinician getting back to you or your appointment not being booked with the appropriate clinician.
