I have had two health scares recently. With both my first contact was ask my GP. I find this service great. Usually get a response with a few hours. I was referred on both occasions and had hospital appoints with a few days as it was classed as urgent. Also have dealt with non urgent issues promptly. I understand the difficulty the health services are going through at the moment. I also worry about patients unable to use this service and am glad that I can. The wait times for calls to be answered can be very frustrating. I just think that the services need to think about people in full time employment and the difficulties getting in touch verbally can bring.
