Today I had a follow up appointment at the hand clinic with a hand surgeon called Racheal (I'm sorry I don't have the surname!) I am a professional musician and the appointment was nerve-racking as the outcome would affect my ability to return to work. I was delighted that Racheal had a special interest in treating musicians injuries and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, took great account of my personal circumstances in relation to the injury and how to treat it.
Given the difficult circumstances of the past two years I was amazed at how efficiently the clinic was running, as was X-Ray, where I was seen really quickly by a wonderfully friendly and clearly professional radiologist.
Thank you to all the staff who saw me today: receptionists, staff nurses, radiology and, of course, hand surgeon. I left hospital elated and feeling I am receiving excellent care.
