"Efficient visit to Minor Injuries"

About: Mid-Ulster Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a parent/guardian),

My child attended minor Injuries at Mid Ulster hospital with suspected broken fingers. We used Phone First, we were given a time slot to arrive and were seen promptly. Keira the ENP assessed my child and then we were sent to the Radiography team  for X-ray.

Fracture diagnosed, treatment & referral to fracture clinic and away within the hour. Efficient calm & caring service - thank you to all the team.

Thank you so much for taking the time to feedback your recent experience of the health service with your child.

I am really pleased to hear that you and your child experienced a very streamlined and efficient service. I am also glad to read that the staff were caring, which I am sure helped relieve your stress, as I know attending a hospital with a child regardless of reason, can be an anxious and worrying time.

The staff of the Minor Injuries, and indeed Mid Ulster Hospital will be delighted to learn of your feedback. It really emphaises that staff are continuting to deliver a valuable service for their patients even during these challenging times.

I wish your child a speedy recovery.

Best wishes

Natalie McLaughlin
