About: Beacon Medical Group

Ever since lockdown I have been forced to converse on line and add photos. I am sure some people will find this awkward but I can't complain. Within two days of going on line I have a phone conversation with the doctor. My only complaint is a face to face may have resulted in my situation being cleared up sooner. Once the covid situation is relaxed I look forward to face to face meetings. In the meantime we are all making the best of the situation. In the last 18 months I have never waited more than 2 days for a telephone consultation.

We are pleased to learn that you have found using the online services straightforward and that you were contacted by a clinician within the appropriate timescales.

With the introduction of the total triage system Beacon Medial Group clinical teams are able to contact patients initially by telephone and where necessary a face to face appointment will be made. Since this new system of working, we have reduced the waiting times for GP appointments from 6 weeks to 5 days.
