"Very lucky to be a patient here"

I have been with Westgate for 6 years now. They are the best gp practice I have ever experienced. I try not to bother them too often but when I'm in need they are so helpful and accommodating.

I broke my arm last year and there were some delays at Ninewells in getting my operation date, but Westgate helped me so much in being able to manage the pain even when I had to call them at 2 in the afternoon. Nothing was too much bother.

The last three months I have developed sinusitis and acute lower back pain as a result of being a nurse in covid areas. They have been so supportive and accommodating. Lots of helpful advice and once again I called at an inconvenient time. They are just fantastic.

I have a long standing small brain tumour and they are always spot on with the follow up care I need, it's not just acute issues that I'm praising them for. They talk me through my blood results and always make me feel reassured.

I just can't praise them enough and it is something that I think we forget to do, especially at the moment when GP practices are under such pressures. You are all fantastic and hard working people.
