"Still finding issues with booking appointments"

Prior to Covid and the merging with the other surgeries, we have been happy with this surgery. Accepting, Covid caused many operating issues, we are still finding issues with booking appointments. The phone system takes me a minimum of 45 mins to use. I am so glad I do not work anymore, who can afford to stay on the line that long while working? I have to make calls for elderly neighbours who find both the menu and the wait too laborious. Why has the online booking not been reinstated?  The staff are generally helpful and polite, but sort out the patient booking system, its supposed to be for the patients convenience, not the surgery! At present, the system is a significant barrier to seeing a doctor.
