About: Borders General Hospital / Acute Assessment Unit Borders General Hospital / Paediatrics (Ward 15)

(as a service user),

My 3 year old son went in to BGH yesterday lunchtime with respiratory problems, and was looked after so well by every single staff member we were in touch with. Allan and a student nurse in the covid assessment area were super kind, caring and helpful. The student nurse helped us upstairs to paediatrics as I had my 7 month old with me as well, and she arranged for my mum to come in out of the cold to join us.

The staff in ward 15 were all great, explained everything and made us feel very well cared for in the 24 hours we were there. Thanks for everything you do!
