Contacted the surgery about suspected symptoms of a serious nature and, despite my call being outside the timeframe for same-day appointments, was fast-tracked by the very helpful and understanding receptionist. Within two hours of my initial call I was being examined by a kind and reassuring doctor and in possession of a letter of referral for further investigation. Just four weeks later I underwent major surgery and am now recovering at home and hopeful of a good outcome. I am in no doubt that the quick response from both receptionist and doctor was crucial to my early diagnosis and treatment, for which they have my most grateful thanks.
