About: Medway Maritime Hospital

After my kidney removal I was and have been in agonising back pain. Even though I was referred to the Pain Management Dept, I have not heard from them until over 7 months later with an appointment in Dec 2021. Utterly disgraceful, uncaring and words cannot express my feelings.

We are very sorry that you have had to wait longer than either you or we would like for an appointment to see our pain team. We are trying to ensure our patients can access services as quickly as possible, however there is often high demand following the pandemic.
