One of my main fears as a parent was my son getting admitted into hospital with him having additional needs I thought the staff wouldn’t understand and it wouldn’t be a good experience for him but recently I took my little boy to children’s A&E he then got admitted on to F64 where we were put onto a ward but one staff member went out of his way to get us a side room so my son could have his own space. I couldn’t thank the staff enough from A&E and F64 they were great with my little boy and understood all of his needs they literally went above and beyond for us during our stay. One of the nurses on the ward grew a little bond with my son and would count to 10 whenever he done his observations to keep him calm. It really wasn’t a bad experience after all all thanks to the staff 😊
"Very caring and understanding staff "
