Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, I am so sorry to hear the wait you and your husband encountered. Unfortunately, we are unable to determine the number of patients that are going to need to access our Emergency Department on any one day, therefore sometimes the wait to be seen is longer than we would like. All patients attending our Emergency Department are triaged and are clinically prioritised in order. I am however so sorry to hear about the wait your husband encountered. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on 01708 435 454 or by email bhrut.pals@nhs.net and they will do all they can to help you. Once again, thank you for taking the time to provide us with you feedback.

Kind Regards

James Avery Divisional Director of Nursing Emergency Medicine Division
