"Covid booster vaccination"

About: NHS Fife / COVID-19 Vaccination Service

(as a service user),

I went to get my Covid booster vaccination yesterday & despite having an appointment, I had to queue and wait an hour to get it. I don't understand why so many appointments were made at one time. When I got the first 2 doses at the local hospital I did not have to wait. I was worried I would have a parking ticket having only parked/paid for an hour & was also desperate for the toilet but there was nowhere to go.

Dear moonqg44

I am so sorry you had a long wait at the clinic. It is very frustrating to be kept waiting and queueing for much longer than you anticipated.

We are working hard at looking at ways that we can improve the way people have to queue and wait for their appointment.

There are Venue Support Workers available who hopefully would have been able to help you find a suitable toilet.

Once again I am so sorry that this was your experience - please be assured that we are genuinely looking at ways of improving things,
