About: Bellfield Centre Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Acute assessment unit

(as a service user),

My partner had a stroke on the 1st September & after two weeks in Forth Valley Royal she was moved to the Wallace Suite at the Bellfield Centre, Stirling. 

The care that she received from every single member of staff there was outstanding, from the staff nurses, physios, nursing assistants, cleaners & catering staff - their support, encouragement and empathy was just amazing. From going in with no movement in her left side at all she walked out of the unit under her own steam and is now continuing to improve at home after only 5 weeks.

Without the specialist staff and support of this unit she would never have improved at the rate she has done and this type of service is so important. A huge thank you to everyone at the unit.
