"Excellent treatment at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency

(as other),

I phoned the emergency ward because my 79 year old husband was struggling to breathe and the person on the other end of the phone put me at ease immediately as she talked me through what I should do etc.

Within 15 minutes three paramedics arrived (one in car and two in ambulance) and attended to my husband with the greatest of care.

They took him to hospital where he received excellent treatment from both doctors and nursing staff and I am happy to report he is now back at home with me. Cannot thank them enough.

Dear scotsgirl 55

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in regards to your husband's care while he attended the A&E Department of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

It was great to hear how the care he received from start to finish from the staff was of a high standard in what must have been a very worrying time for all the family.

I will be delighted to pass on your comments to the staff involved who I'm sure will be humbled to hear how they made such a difference while he was in their care.

I'm glad to hear he is now on the mend and is back at home recovering.

Kind regards

Kevin
