"Care in the ED "

About: Northern General Hospital

I went to a&e this evening due to a suspected broken ankle.

Hospitals can be chaotic, frantic and care can seem abrupt and impersonal. I found all of the above irrelevant tonight.

Despite how busy the department was, I felt well cared for and helped. The advice I received was incredibly helpful and despite such a minor issue, I felt looked after.

I want to thank all of the staff working on the 19th of October (2021) for working so hard. You do the NHS proud and I can't wait to join you in the future.

Stay safe
