My relative was initially admitted to the SATA unit at the RAH. He was then moved in to ward 14. Some of the staff in ward 14 were wonderful - so kind and helpful. I would also like to give a massive Thankyou.
For the first 2 nights the care he received was great. Unfortunately, the day he passed away the care he received was definitely sub-standard. No one came near the room to see if anything was required, and when they were called - not one single person introduced themselves. We also had to request pain relief and for personal care to be given. I would be very keen to discuss this further.
"Poor end of life care"
