This is for A&E, Imaging, Blood analysis, Porters & (in particular) Bay A of Acute Medical Unit Emergency Floor.
Unfortunately I returned via A&E again with further cardiac symptoms plus severe vertigo. Remained for 3 days. No praise too high for all the depts involved, who organised & delivered care and diagnostics (blood tests, ECG's, MRI, CT & Ultrasound scans) with remarkable speed and efficiency very impressive for a hospital and staff under severe pressure (it was "full"). Special praise and gratitude reserved for Emergency Floor AMU doctors & all staff and in particular the Bay A Nurses, HCAs, Infection Control and Nutrition personnel all of whom delivered service of a very high standard, in demanding circumstances not infrequently unpleasant. That is their "normal".
To witness & experience their skills, commitment, patience and unfailing good humour under those challenging conditions is humbling.
I remain symptomatic but reassured that no significant adverse conditions were revealed.
Thank you very much for your skill & care so much appreciated. Please ensure that this message is conveyed to AMU and Bay A in particular.
Thank you.
"Great Practice"
