I rarely visit a GP, but needed to recently as I was concerned about something. I found the online form and triage experience simple and triage confirmed by text in 2 hours I would get a call from a clinician later that day. Ideal. I got a call from a GP mid afternoon. He was very thorough in his questions and patient as I’m sure he could tell I was worried. He reassured me, arranged a follow up appointment call in 2 weeks and did a referral to the hospital. He also then followed up with other general health questions and - unlike before at places - I was made to feel comfortable and not rushed. I was very unsure about phone appointments remotely from bad press, but it was so thorough I would even want to have one for most times again and tell anyone to just try it - especially as he reassured me if he needed to examine me I would be able to go in. I’d recommend the practice to anyone in Central Manchester. I was used to waiting 3 weeks for appointments in person, this was all done on phone same day. Thank you!
