"A&E terrible experience"

About: Countess Of Chester Hospital

On October 11 found by wife unconscious at home, Ambulance service took me to A&E still in my pyjama bottoms, robe and socks. Then taken into waiting room with lots of other people a-lot of which was not waring masks ? . After 2 of shaking and feeling confused and feeling anxious as i was the only one in pyjamas i asked how long to see triage as i can not last much longer due to my condition, reply was it may be another hour so i asked if i could leave , answer yes what is your name and goodbye. I left A&E and when i got to end of grounds realised i had no money, no phone so i thought only way home is to walk. I have ankylosing spondylitis and severe arthritis in both hips also live at least 5 miles away. It took me 2.5 hrs to eventually get home where the police were there as they had numerous calls for a man walking in pyjamas and worried for his safety.whilst they were there my wife got call from hospital asking for me to return as i am not well?. I got dressed and wife took me back to A&E. It took 2.5hrs to see triage then was told it would take 5 hrs to see a doctor, after waiting another 3 hrs i could hardly walk and staggering and feeling sick, then to cap it all a man came to reception right by me and my wife and said he has covid and weeled his wife in saying she was struggling to breath. My anxiety went up another notch as i am on imuno depressed on biologic injections. I aked my wife to tell reception i need to go home again she said ok whats the name and bye. I do not blame the staff but the big wigs at the top running this hospital as the A&E dept is not fit for purpose.
