I have visited HHC too many times to count this year. When needing an emergency surgical referral I was seen the same day and have spoken to a doctor within three days every time I have needed to. The practice nurses have been accomodating when I required daily nurse appointments and reception have made every effort to provide accurate advice, although it's necessary to question it if you are unsure.

It's very unhelpful that the website messaging system is not in use and on average it takes about 8 calls to get in the queue, and then a twenty minute wait to speak to someone. An extra administrator to deal with online queries would be marvelous!

Thank you for your positive feedback on your experiences at the surgery over the past months.

With regard to the website, unfortunately we have to close it on some occasions during the week and at the weekends as the surgery cannot cope with the demand and it would become unmanageable and unsafe if all messages/requests were not dealt with in a timely way. Your suggestion with regard to an extra administrator to deal with online queries has been noted.
