About: Glemsford Surgery

I move to Glemsford in August 2020 and signed on at the surgery within weeks I needed help with a stoma that I have fitted,I needed see someone urently,I was told that the earliest available appointment was about three weeks time, I explain it was urgent and that being stoma patient I should have access to a stoma nurse but this was waisted on whoever I was speaking to. I telephoned the hospital in Bury and got through to the stoma nurse who was very helpfull and said to come in that day and she would see me.When I explained what had happened at Glemsford surgery she was shocked, anyone fitted with a stoma should have access to a specialist stoma nurse. It would seem no one has told them this at Glemsford surgery. I wouldn't recomend this surgery to anyone.
